Dual comparator with on-chip reference
The MAX923C/D from Analog Devices integrates two comparators with a voltage reference on a single die, drawing a maximum quiescent current of 4.5 µA — low enough for battery-powered threshold detection where the reference and comparator pair share the same supply rail. Each comparator includes 50 mV of built-in hysteresis, which prevents output chatter when the input signal crosses the threshold slowly — useful in zero-crossing detectors and window comparators where noise immunity matters more than absolute precision.
Supply range and output drive
The CMOS/TTL output stage swings rail-to-rail and interfaces with 5 V logic families without a level translator.
Die-level packaging for hybrid or chip-on-board
Supplied as a bare die in bulk format — the die sits directly in the customer's hybrid assembly or chip-on-board process. The supplier device package is listed as Die, so the bond-pad layout and die thickness must be verified against the assembly drawing before wire-bonding.
Operating temperature is rated 0°C to 70°C, suitable for commercial and industrial indoor equipment where the ambient stays within that band.
