Dropout and PSRR — the two specs that decide fit
Dropout voltage is specified at a maximum of 0.165V at 150mA output (typical value). That means with a 3.3V output, the input can drop to about 3.465V before the regulator loses regulation — useful in battery-powered designs or post-buck rails where headroom is tight. The PSRR is 63dB at 10kHz, which gives meaningful ripple rejection for switching-noise frequencies that often couple into analog supplies. If your load draws less than 150mA, the dropout improves further; the 180 µA quiescent current keeps standby drain low.
