Push-pull output — no external pull-up resistor
The push-pull (totem-pole) output drives the reset line high or low without needing an external pull-up. That saves a resistor and one PCB trace, which matters on dense boards or when the reset net is shared across multiple loads. Active-low polarity is the common convention for microcontroller reset pins — the supervisor pulls the line low on a fault and releases it high when the supply is valid.
If you are qualifying this for a production BOM, the active lifecycle and ROHS3 compliance clear the two main gates. Submit an RFQ for a firm price and delivery window.
