1.575V threshold supervisor for battery-powered monitoring
The MAX6869UK16D1S+ is a nanopower microprocessor reset circuit from Analog Devices, monitoring a single supply rail at a 1.575V threshold. The 1.575V threshold targets low-voltage core rails — 1.8 V or 1.5 V nominal supplies where a 5% or 10% brown-out window sits near 1.575 V. If the monitored rail dips below that during a battery swap or a transient load step, the open-drain output pulls the processor's reset pin low without sourcing current from the processor's own supply.
SOT-23-5 footprint and temperature grade
Housed in a 5-lead SOT-23 (SC-74A, SOT-753) package, the MAX6869UK16D1S+ occupies a board footprint roughly 3.0 mm × 3.0 mm — small enough to place near the target processor's supply pin without routing a long sense trace. The surface-mount package suits automated assembly lines using standard SOT-23-5 solder paste stencils. The 10 ms minimum reset timeout is fixed internally — no external capacitor needed.
