Reset timeout — why 150ms matters
The 150ms minimum reset timeout gives the power supply time to settle after initial power-up or a glitch. If your processor needs a longer delay to let an oscillator stabilise or an external memory finish its power-on sequence, this part may release reset too early. For most general-purpose MCUs and simple SoCs, 150ms is adequate. If your design requires a longer timeout, you will need a supervisor with a programmable or longer fixed delay.
Package and footprint
Housed in a 5-pin SOT-23-5, this part fits the standard supervisor footprint. The SOT-23-5 is a common surface-mount package for manual rework or automated assembly.
Temperature grade and environment
Rated for -40°C to 85°C ambient, this supervisor handles industrial environments: outdoor telecom cabinets, factory-floor controllers, HVAC equipment, and automotive cabin-adjacent electronics. Not rated for under-hood or extended military temperature, but fine for the vast majority of commercial and industrial gear.
