1.67 V threshold — what it guards
The MAX6822WUK+: Its 1.67 V threshold is set for low-voltage core rails — think 1.8 V logic or a 1.5 V DSP supply that must stay above 1.67 V to guarantee proper operation. When the monitored voltage dips below that threshold, the open-drain output pulls low and holds for a minimum 100 ms after the rail recovers, giving the downstream processor time to initialize.
Active low, open drain — bus compatibility
This is the standard interface for most MCUs and SoCs that expect a low-true reset signal.
Temperature range and package
The SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A, SOT-753 footprint) is a standard five-pin surface-mount outline — the same land pattern used by hundreds of supervisor ICs, so a board layout already using a SOT-23-5 reset IC can drop this part in without a PCB spin.
Analog Devices lists the MAX6822WUK+ as Active.
