What the 9µs timeout means for your system
A 9µs typical reset timeout means the part holds the reset line low for about 9µs after all monitored voltages rise above their thresholds. That brief pulse is enough to let a processor's internal POR circuit initialize, but short enough that the system recovers quickly from a transient glitch. If your design requires a longer reset hold time (e.g., for an external oscillator to stabilize), you may need an external RC delay or a supervisor with an adjustable timeout. For most MCU and FPGA applications, 9µs is adequate.
The 6-uDFN package is small enough for space-constrained designs but requires careful soldering — the 1.5mm x 1.0mm footprint is not hand-solder-friendly without a microscope.
