Two-rail supervisor for multi-voltage system monitoring
One channel is fixed at a 5 V threshold; the second is adjustable via an external resistor divider. The 8-TDFN (3x3) exposed-pad package helps conduct heat into the PCB ground plane, keeping the die temperature within limits even when the supervisor is powered continuously.
The 100 ms minimum reset timeout is the period the supervisor holds the reset line asserted after all monitored voltages are above threshold. That 100 ms window covers the power-on settling of most switching regulators and the oscillator start-up of a typical MCU. If the processor needs a longer reset pulse — for example, to wait for an external oscillator to stabilize — an external RC delay or a supervisor with a longer timeout would be needed. The open-drain output lets the reset line be shared with other open-drain devices (like a watchdog timer or a manual reset button) through a single pull-up resistor. The active-low polarity is the industry-standard convention for processor reset inputs; a supervisor with an active-high output would require an inverter or a different processor reset pin.
Package and mounting — board-level fit
The Cut Tape option suits prototype or low-volume builds where a full reel is not justified.
This is a part you can qualify into a new design without worrying about near-term obsolescence.
