Dual-rail supervisor in a five-pin SC-70
The MAX6741XKSHD3+ is a multi-voltage supervisor from Analog Devices that monitors two supply rails simultaneously, with thresholds set at 1.313V and 2.925V. It asserts an active-low reset output — open-drain topology — when either monitored voltage drops below its threshold, and holds reset low for a minimum of 150ms after all rails return above threshold.
Housed in a 5-lead SC-70 (also known as SOT-353), the device occupies minimal board area — the 2.0mm × 2.1mm body with 0.65mm pin pitch fits into tight mixed-signal layouts where a supervisor is a late addition to the rail sequence. Surface-mount assembly with no exposed pad simplifies the solder profile; the small body means the part reaches reflow temperature quickly, so the preheat ramp rate matters more than the peak soak.
