Three-rail supervisor in a SOT-23-8
The MAX6726KATGD3+ is a multi-voltage supervisor from Analog Devices that monitors three separate supply rails with factory-programmed thresholds of 1.11 V, 3.075 V, and one adjustable input. It asserts a reset output—available as both active-high and active-low push-pull signals—when any monitored voltage falls below its threshold, and holds reset for a minimum of 140 ms after all rails return to tolerance.
Threshold selection and reset timing
The fixed 1.11 V and 3.075 V thresholds cover common core and I/O supply rails for DSPs, MCUs, and FPGAs, while the adjustable input lets you set a third threshold with an external resistor divider for a non-standard voltage like 1.8 V or 2.5 V. The 140 ms minimum reset timeout provides enough hold time for the system power supply to stabilize after a brownout or power-up sequence, preventing spurious resets during supply ramp transients.
Package and integration
The push-pull outputs eliminate the need for external pull-up resistors on the reset lines, simplifying the layout and reducing BOM count.
