Three-rail supervisor in a SOT-23-8
The Maxim Integrated MAX6725KASHD3-T is a multi-voltage supervisor that monitors three supply rails simultaneously — a compact choice for boards that need power-good sequencing on a core, I/O, and auxiliary rail. The three monitored thresholds are 1.313 V, 2.925 V, and an adjustable third channel, giving flexibility to set the lowest rail wherever the design needs it. Both active-high and active-low reset outputs are available, each open-drain, so the part can drive reset logic of either polarity without extra inverters. The 140 ms minimum reset timeout holds the system in reset long enough for the supplies and oscillator to stabilise before the processor starts executing code.
Industrial temperature and SOT-23-8 footprint
Rated for -40°C to 85°C ambient, this supervisor suits industrial environments — outdoor telecom cabinets, factory-floor controllers, and engine-bay electronics where the board sees temperature swings but not extended soak above 85°C. The SOT-23-8 package (Supplier Device Package SOT-23-8) keeps the footprint small: three voltage monitors in the same board area a single supervisor in a larger package would occupy. Surface-mount assembly is standard for volume production.
Active lifecycle — no end-of-life concern
The MAX6725KASHD3-T carries an Active product status. No last-time-buy notice, no NRND flag — it remains a valid BOM entry for both new designs and sustaining production. The RoHS status is listed as non-compliant, so verify your assembly's exemption policy if you require full RoHS compliance; the part may be intended for exempt applications or legacy BOMs that accept the older solder alloy.
