Three-rail supervision in a SOT-23-8 footprint
The MAX6725AKASVD3+T: The reset outputs are open drain with both active-high and active-low signals, so the part can drive a microcontroller's reset pin (active-low) and also a power-good LED or enable line (active-high) from the same package without extra inverters.
Reset timing and temperature range
The reset timeout is 140 ms minimum — long enough to let all three rails settle after power-up before releasing the processor, but short enough that a brownout recovery does not stall the system for hundreds of milliseconds. Housed in an SOT-23-8, the part fits into space-constrained designs — the 8-pin footprint takes less board area than a DIP-8 or SOIC-8, and the surface-mount package suits automated assembly lines.
