Output and reset timing
Active-low push-pull output means no external pull-up resistor needed — the output drives high when rails are good, low during reset. The 140ms minimum reset timeout gives the power supplies and oscillators time to stabilise before the processor starts. For a typical MCU with a fast-starting regulator, that is plenty; for a system with a slow-starting DC-DC or a crystal with a long start-up, check the worst-case power-good time against the 140ms window.
Package and mounting
SOT-23-6, surface-mount only. The supplier device package is the same SOT-23-6. No through-hole option. Board layout is straightforward — six pins, standard footprint. Keep the bypass cap close to the supply pin; the datasheet layout note (not reproduced here) is worth a glance for noise immunity on the sense inputs.
Lifecycle and sourcing note
Status is Active per the manufacturer. No NRND or EOL flags. RoHS non-compliant — check your assembly line's exemption allowance if you are in a RoHS-restricted region.
