Two-voltage monitoring in a SOT-23-6 footprint
The MAX6715UTYDD3: It asserts a single active-low reset output (open-drain) when either voltage falls below its threshold, and holds reset low for a minimum of 140 ms after both rails rise above threshold. Housed in a SOT-23-6 package, it occupies minimal board area and suits compact multi-rail designs where a single supervisor must watch both core and I/O voltages.
Threshold selection and reset timing
The two voltage thresholds — 0.788 V and 2.188 V — are factory-trimmed, eliminating external resistor dividers. The 140 ms minimum reset timeout provides enough hold time for the downstream processor's power-on reset to complete, even with slow-rising supplies. The open-drain output allows wire-ORing with other reset sources in the system.
It is RoHS non-compliant per the manufacturer's declaration, which may affect its use in regions with strict RoHS enforcement or in designs requiring full RoHS exemption documentation.
