Four-rail supervisor in a small MSOP package
The MAX6709OUB+ from Analog Devices (Maxim Integrated) is a multi-voltage supervisor that monitors up to four supply rails simultaneously. It asserts a common active-low reset output (open-drain or open-collector) when any monitored voltage falls below its threshold, and holds reset for a minimum of <1ms after all rails return to tolerance. The adjustable/selectable thresholds let you set each channel to the exact trip point your rail needs — no fixed-voltage variant hunting. Housed in a 10-uMAX/uSOP (3.00 mm width) surface-mount package, it fits tight PCB layouts in industrial control, telecom, and multi-rail embedded systems. The -40°C to 85°C operating range covers factory-floor and outdoor cabinet environments without a commercial-grade gap.
What the four-channel monitoring means for your BOM
Four voltage monitors in one package means one IC replaces four single-channel supervisors or a handful of discrete comparators and reference diodes. That saves board area, reduces BOM line count, and simplifies the reset logic — a single open-drain output drives the system reset line. The adjustable thresholds let you match the exact rail voltages without ordering a fixed-voltage variant for each rail.
