Two-rail supervisor in a SOT-23-8
The MAX6708SKA-T monitors two supply voltages. One channel has a fixed 2.93V threshold; the second is adjustable via external resistors. Both reset outputs are push-pull — one active-high, one active-low. The reset timeout is 140ms minimum, long enough to let the system power supplies stabilise before the CPU comes out of reset. Operating temperature spans -40°C to 125°C, suiting it for industrial controllers, automotive ECUs, and base-station power sequencers where the ambient can climb.
What the ratings mean for the BOM
The 2.93V fixed threshold asserts reset when the monitored voltage drops below that level. The adjustable second channel monitors a secondary rail via a resistor divider. Push-pull outputs eliminate external pull-up resistors. The 140ms reset timeout holds the system in reset for power supply settling.
