What this supervisor does on your board
It asserts a reset output for a minimum of 140ms after the monitored voltages rise above their thresholds, giving the supply and oscillator time to settle before the CPU starts executing code. The reset output is active-high, push-pull (totem-pole), which means it drives a logic high when the monitored voltages are good and pulls low on fault. No external pull-up resistor is needed, and it drives CMOS or TTL inputs directly.
Temperature grade and deployment fit
The SOT-23-8 footprint keeps board area small, and the surface-mount package is compatible with standard reflow assembly.
Lifecycle and compliance note
No last-time-buy risk for ongoing designs. This part is RoHS non-compliant.
