The reset output is push-pull, totem-pole, so it drives the enable or reset pin of an MCU, FPGA, or SoC directly without an external pull-up. The 140ms minimum reset timeout holds the system in reset long enough for the regulated supplies to stabilise after a fault clears or during power-up sequencing.
