What the two monitored voltages mean for your rail
The MAX6705SKA-T monitors two supply rails, one at a fixed 2.93V threshold and the second adjustable via an external resistor divider. That covers the core and I/O voltage on a dual-rail processor or FPGA without needing a second supervisor IC. That debounce window keeps the system from cycling during a brief brownout or supply glitch.
SOT-23-8 package, same footprint as many single-voltage supervisors — the extra two pins bring in the adjustable input and the manual reset (MR) if the design needs an external pushbutton. Surface-mount only, no through-hole variant.
That means it is still a valid choice for new designs and production builds, not a scavenge-only part. RoHS non-compliant per the listing — the lead finish is likely tin-lead. If your assembly line is RoHS-only, budget for a lead-free equivalent or a waiver. The package itself is standard SOT-23-8, so a Pb-free sibling (MAX6705SKA+T) may drop in without a layout change.
