SOT-23-8 supervisor with dual-voltage monitoring
The MAX6705AZKA is a multi-voltage supervisor from Analog Devices that monitors two supply rails — one fixed at 2.32 V threshold and one adjustable via external resistors — and asserts an active-low reset when either drops below its threshold. The reset output is push-pull (totem-pole), so it drives the reset input of an MCU or FPGA without an external pull-up resistor.
140 ms minimum reset timeout — why it matters
The reset timeout is a minimum of 140 ms, which gives the downstream processor enough time to stabilize its internal oscillator and power-on sequence before the supervisor releases the reset line.
Note that this part is listed as RoHS non-compliant, so it may not be suitable for designs requiring RoHS exemption-free compliance.
