Accuracy across the temperature span
Accuracy is specified as ±3°C over 0°C to 70°C, widening to ±5.8°C across the full -55°C to 125°C range. That ±5.8°C figure is the wider limit a designer budgets for when the sensor is used for over-temperature protection or coarse environmental monitoring rather than precision closed-loop control. If your application demands tighter accuracy across the extended range, a separate calibration step or a higher-grade sensor is needed.
Package and supply — BOM-fit checks
The SC-70-5 package (5-lead TSSOP / SOT-353) is a common footprint shared by many analog temperature sensors.
For a BOM freeze, this part carries no near-term obsolescence risk.
