Two-voltage supervisor in a SOT-23-6 — what it does on the board
The Maxim Integrated MAX6450UT26L-T is a multi-voltage supervisor that monitors two supply rails and asserts an active-low reset when either falls below its threshold. One channel is fixed at 2.625V; the second channel accepts an external resistor divider for an adjustable trip point. The open-drain output holds the reset line low for a minimum of 140ms after all monitored voltages return above threshold — long enough for most MCUs, FPGAs, and DSPs to complete their power-on initialization. The SOT-23-6 package fits tight layouts where board space is at a premium, and the -40°C to 85°C operating range covers industrial control, base station, and outdoor telecom environments.
Open-drain output — wired-OR and level translation
The open-drain output allows multiple supervisors to share a common reset line through a pull-up resistor.
RoHS status — check your assembly line
This part is listed as RoHS non-compliant. For designs that accept tin-lead solder, the MAX6450UT26L-T remains a valid choice.
