Reset threshold and timeout — the so-what
The MAX6445UK16L-T: The 1.575V threshold is set to monitor a 1.8V or 1.5V core rail — it asserts reset when the supply dips below that level, protecting the downstream MCU or FPGA from brownout corruption. The 140ms minimum reset timeout holds the reset line low long enough for the system clock and power rails to settle before the processor starts executing code. Active Low reset output with push-pull, totem-pole drive means it can directly drive the reset input of most microcontrollers without an external pull-up resistor — the output stage sources and sinks current cleanly.
Package and temperature grade
Housed in a SOT-23-5 — the same footprint as the SC-74A — this is a compact, five-pin surface-mount package suited for dense PCB layouts.
Compliance note
Marked as RoHS non-compliant — if your BOM requires RoHS exemption or a fully compliant alternative, the sourcing desk can confirm the exact status and any available lead-free variants at quote time.
