The SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A, SOT-753) is a standard surface-mount footprint with 0.95 mm pitch — the same land pattern used by many general-purpose supervisor ICs, so a board layout already supporting a 5-pin SOT-23 supervisor accepts this part without a respin.
The output is open-drain, active-low. It requires an external pull-up resistor to the logic supply rail. The open-drain topology allows the reset signal to be shared across multiple devices or pulled to a different voltage than the monitored rail.
