Multi-voltage supervisor for 3.3V rails
The MAX6420UK33+T is a multi-voltage supervisor from Analog Devices that monitors two supply voltages — one fixed at 3.3V and a second adjustable threshold — and asserts an active-low reset when either falls below its trip point. The reset output is open-drain, so it can be pulled up to a different logic rail than the monitored voltage, and the reset timeout is adjustable via an external capacitor, giving the downstream processor time to stabilize after power-up.
Housed in a 5-pin SOT-23-5 (SC-74A) package, it shares the same footprint as many other small supervisors — the pinout is standard enough that a board layout can often accommodate a second-source candidate without a respin.
