Dual-voltage supervision in a four-pin SC-70
The MAX6387XS28D2+T is a multi-voltage supervisor from Analog Devices that monitors two supply rails and asserts an active-low reset when either falls below its threshold. One channel is fixed at 2.8 V; the second is adjustable via an external resistor divider, giving the designer flexibility to sequence core and I/O voltages independently. The push-pull, totem-pole output drives the reset line directly without an external pull-up resistor, saving one component per rail on a dense board. Reset timeout is a minimum of 20 ms, long enough for most power supplies to stabilise after a fault clears.
Temperature grade and board-fit
The SC-70-4 package (also known as SC-82A or SOT-343) occupies roughly 2 mm × 2 mm of board area — small enough to tuck next to the power entry on a multi-rail FPGA or SoC design without forcing a layout compromise. Surface-mount assembly with the standard SC-70 footprint; the four-pin layout keeps the routing direct from the monitored rails to the sense inputs.
No pin-compatible second-source or official successor is listed — the part is sole-sourced from Analog Devices.
