Single-voltage supervisor with a 3.08 V threshold
The MAX6384XS31D5+ is a single-voltage power-supply monitor from Analog Devices, part of the MAX6384 family of low-voltage supervisors. It monitors a single supply rail and asserts a reset output when the voltage drops below the 3.08 V threshold. The reset stays asserted for a minimum of 280 ms after the monitored voltage rises above the threshold, giving the system time to stabilize before the processor starts executing code. Operating temperature spans -40°C to +125°C, covering the industrial and automotive ambient range. That means it can sit on a board near a hot processor or in an under-hood ECU without derating the monitoring function.
Both refer to the same 4-lead footprint — a compact, low-profile surface-mount package suited for space-constrained designs. The mounting type is surface mount, and the part ships in bulk.
