Reset supervisor for automotive power rails
The MAX6383XR46D3+ is a single-voltage Simple Reset/Power-On Reset IC from Analog Devices, monitoring a 4.63V rail with an active-low, open-drain output. The 140ms minimum reset timeout holds the downstream device in reset long enough for the supply to stabilize after a brown-out or power-up.
Housed in a 3-lead SC-70 (SOT-323) package, the MAX6383XR46D3+ occupies roughly 2.0 x 2.1 mm of board area. The SC-70-3 footprint is a standard JEDEC MO-203 variant — the same land pattern used by many single-channel supervisors, so a layout already designed for a competitor's SC-70 reset IC accepts this part without a board spin.
