SC-70 supervisor for a 1.67 V rail
The MAX6383XR17D3: It holds the reset output for a minimum of 140 ms after the rail recovers, giving the downstream processor time to stabilize its oscillator and power-on sequence before code execution starts. The open-drain, active-low output lets you wire-OR this supervisor with other reset sources on the same pull-up line — common in multi-rail systems where a single master reset signal must aggregate several fault conditions.
Temperature grade and board fit
The SC-70-3 package (SOT-323 footprint) occupies less than 2.5 mm² of board area, making it a natural fit for space-constrained designs where a supervisor is an afterthought on a dense mixed-signal board. Because the threshold is fixed at 1.67 V, this supervisor is intended for a 1.8 V nominal rail — the reset asserts before the supply drops below the minimum operating voltage of most 1.8 V logic. No external resistor divider is needed; the threshold is set internally.
