The MAX6375UR23+ is a single-voltage detector that asserts a reset when the monitored supply drops below 2.32V. That threshold sits just below the 2.5V and 2.7V logic rails common in battery-powered designs — the detector holds the microcontroller in reset before the core voltage falls out of the operating range, preventing brown-out corruption of flash or register states. The active-low, push-pull output drives the reset pin directly without an external pull-up resistor — one less component on a tight SOT-23-3 layout.
