Three-rail supervisor in a SOT-23-6
The MAX6357TZUT+T is a multi-voltage supervisor from Analog Devices that monitors three supply rails simultaneously — one at 2.32 V, a second at 3.08 V, and a third adjustable threshold — and asserts an active-low reset when any rail drops below its threshold. The 100 ms minimum reset timeout holds the system in reset long enough for the rails to stabilise after power-up or a brownout event.
Thresholds and reset behaviour for multi-rail systems
The three monitored voltages cover the common core (2.32 V) and I/O (3.08 V) rails found in mixed-voltage digital systems, plus an adjustable input that can be set with an external resistor divider to track a third rail such as 1.8 V or 5 V. The push-pull, totem-pole output drives the reset line high or low without an external pull-up resistor, simplifying the connection to the microcontroller or SoC reset input. The SOT-23-6 package (supplier device package SOT-6) keeps the footprint small for dense PCB layouts.
