Three-rail monitoring in a SOT-23-6 footprint
The MAX6357TWUT+T is a multi-voltage supervisor from Analog Devices that monitors three supply rails simultaneously — a fixed 1.67 V threshold, a fixed 3.08 V threshold, and an adjustable input — all in a six-pin SOT-23 package. A minimum 100 ms reset timeout period holds the system in reset long enough for all regulated supplies to settle before the processor boots — a standard requirement for most MCUs and SoCs.
Threshold selection and board-level fit
The adjustable input lets the designer set a third threshold anywhere between 0.6 V and VCC using an external resistor divider, covering intermediate rails like 2.5 V or 1.2 V that a fixed-threshold supervisor would miss. The SOT-23-6 (SOT-6 supplier device package) footprint requires no special layout treatment beyond standard decoupling — the small outline fits dense mixed-signal boards where board area is already committed to the main converter and processor.
RoHS3 compliant, the part is suitable for designs that must meet the latest EU hazardous-substance restrictions without a waiver.
