Three-rail monitoring in a SOT-23-6 footprint
The MAX6357LSUT is a multi-voltage supervisor from Analog Devices that monitors three independent supply rails — a compact supervisor for systems that need to sequence or guard multiple voltage domains without consuming board area. The three monitored thresholds are 2.93 V, 4.63 V, and an adjustable input, covering common logic and memory rails plus a custom voltage set by an external resistor divider. The active-low reset output is push-pull (totem pole), so it drives the reset line directly without an external pull-up resistor. The minimum reset timeout of 100 ms holds the system in reset long enough for all rails to stabilise before the processor starts executing code.
Threshold selection and temperature range
The adjustable input lets the designer set a third threshold anywhere within the supervisor's operating range, useful for a 1.8 V core supply or a 2.5 V I/O rail that needs undervoltage monitoring. The SOT-23-6 package (supplier device package same as the case) is a six-lead footprint that fits into dense mixed-signal layouts where every mm² is budgeted.
