Voltage monitoring — two rails, one supervisor
The MAX6306UK47D3+T: This multi-voltage supervisor monitors two supply voltages: one fixed at 4.7 V threshold and a second adjustable input via the ADJ pin — typical for sequencing a 5 V logic rail alongside a lower core voltage. The active-low reset output is open-drain, so it can be wire-ORed with other reset signals on the bus without contention — pull it up to the monitored rail or a separate reference. Reset timeout is a minimum of 140 ms after the supply crosses the threshold, which gives downstream devices enough time to stabilize before the processor starts executing code.
Housed in a SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A, SOT-753), the footprint is 2.9 mm × 1.6 mm with 0.95 mm pin pitch — a standard layout that shares land patterns with many other supervisors in the same family. Surface-mount assembly with strip packaging; the small body suits space-constrained designs like portable instrumentation or control modules where board area is at a premium.
