Hermetic op-amp for harsh environments
It delivers a gain-bandwidth product of 500 kHz with a 0.2 V/µs slew rate, rail-to-rail output swing, and operates from a single supply spanning 2.7 V to 6 V. Typical uses include signal conditioning in avionics, satellite telemetry, downhole instrumentation, and other sealed or high-reliability systems where a plastic package won't do.
The 500 kHz gain-bandwidth product sets the usable closed-loop bandwidth for most gain configurations — expect a clean 50 kHz small-signal bandwidth at a gain of 10, which covers many sensor-amplifier and filter stages in control loops. The 0.2 V/µs slew rate limits large-signal response to roughly 30 kHz at 2 V peak-to-peak output, so this is not a fast pulse amplifier; it's sized for precision low-frequency paths where the 200 µV input offset and 25 nA input bias matter more than raw speed. Rail-to-rail output swing at 30 mA per channel lets this op-amp drive modest loads directly — think ADC inputs, reference buffers, or a single LED indicator — without a separate output stage. The 150 µA supply current per amplifier keeps the power budget tight in battery-backed or current-loop-powered designs. No split supplies needed.
The 8-CERDIP (0.300" wide, 7.62 mm body) is a through-hole ceramic package with hermetic seal — no moisture sensitivity, no bake-out required before reflow. You can hand-solder or wave-solder this part into a through-hole board, and if it needs to come off, a desoldering station lifts the part, not the pad. The 8-pin DIP footprint is standard and widely supported.
