Product details

Four SPST-NO channels, 900 mOhm on-resistance

The MAX4752EUD+ packs four independent SPST-NO analog switches in a 14-TSSOP package. Each channel presents a maximum on-resistance of 900 mOhm, with channel-to-channel matching held to 30 mOhm — tight enough that gain error across a multiplexed signal path stays below 0.1% with a 10 kOhm load. The 30 ns turn-on and 25 ns turn-off times (max) keep switching overhead low for audio muxing or signal routing at audio-band sample rates.

Signal integrity: -80 dB crosstalk, 21 pC charge injection

Crosstalk is specified at -80 dB at 1 MHz — this is the feedthrough from an active channel to an off channel at that frequency. For a 48 kHz audio path the margin is even wider; the spec matters more if you are multiplexing a 1 MHz carrier or a high-frequency test signal. Charge injection is 21 pC typical. When the switch opens, that charge dumps onto the load capacitance — for a 10 pF sampling cap the resulting voltage glitch is about 2.1 mV. That is acceptable for 12-bit acquisition but worth derating for 16-bit or higher-resolution SAR ADC front ends. Off-leakage is 2.5 nA max per channel, and channel capacitance is 31 pF (off) / 30 pF (on). The capacitance dominates the settling time into a high-impedance load; with a 10 kOhm source the RC time constant is 310 ns, well within the 30 ns switching window.

Active production, ROHS3, -40 to 85°C

ROHS3 compliant per. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, covering industrial ambient — the switch itself dissipates negligible power at 900 mOhm and microamp-level supply current, so self-heating does not shrink the margin.

Frequently asked questions

What is the on-resistance of the MAX4752EUD+ and why does it matter?

Maximum on-resistance is 900 mOhm per channel, with 30 mOhm channel-to-channel matching. For a 10 kOhm load the 900 mOhm series resistance adds 0.009% gain error; the matching ensures all four channels track within 0.003% of each other — important for differential or ratiometric signal chains.

What supply voltage does the MAX4752EUD+ need?

Single supply range is 1.6 V to 3.6 V.
