Switch parametrics for signal-chain design
The MAX4741EUA+ is a dual SPST-NO analog switch from Analog Devices, built for low-voltage signal routing where the on-resistance floor and crosstalk isolation matter more than raw current capacity. The 100 MHz -3 dB bandwidth and -110 dB crosstalk at 1 MHz tell you the isolation between channels holds up well into the low-MHz region, making it usable for multiplexing audio or moderate-speed sensor signals without bleeding one channel into the next.
Switching speed and charge injection
Turn-on time is 24 ns max, turn-off 16 ns max — the asymmetry means the break-before-make interval is built into the timing, so you don't get momentary shorting between channels during switching. Charge injection is 28 pC typical. In a sample-and-hold front end, that 28 pC dumps onto the hold capacitor and shifts the sampled voltage by Q/C — for a 10 nF cap it's 2.8 µV, negligible; for a 100 pF cap it's 280 mV and dominates the error budget.
Package, temperature, and compliance
Housed in an 8-uMAX/uSOP (3 mm × 3 mm body, 0.65 mm pitch), the surface-mount package fits tight analog front-end layouts where board area is at a premium.
