Dual 4:1 mux with 3.5 ohm Ron and 85 MHz bandwidth
The MAX4639EGE: It routes one of four inputs to a common output per channel, with a maximum on-resistance of 3.5 ohms and channel-to-channel matching within 100 milliohms. The -3 dB bandwidth of 85 MHz and crosstalk of -65 dB at 10 MHz make it suitable for video, RF, and high-speed data acquisition where signal integrity matters.
Maximum turn-on time is 18 ns, turn-off is 7 ns, so the mux can handle multiplexing rates into the tens of megahertz without introducing timing skew between channels. Charge injection is 13 pC — low enough that sample-and-hold circuits and precision ADC front-ends won't see a significant glitch when the switch changes state. Leakage current is a maximum of 250 pA off-state, which keeps the signal path clean in high-impedance applications like photodiode amplifiers or pH probes.
Package and temperature range — field-fit reality
Surface-mount only; not a socketed part, so a field swap means hot air or a reflow station.
RoHS note — lead content affects assembly compliance
If your BOM requires lead-free solder per EU RoHS or similar regulations, you will need an exemption or a leaded assembly process.
