What the key ratings mean for your BOM
The 10 Ohm max on-resistance sets the insertion loss and voltage drop through the switch. The 200 mOhm channel-to-channel matching keeps gain errors between channels low in multiplexed applications. The 1 nA max off-leakage and 5 pF channel capacitance keep the switch from loading the signal source or introducing DC offset. In a high-impedance sensor front-end, 1 nA leakage into a 1 MOhm source creates 1 mV of offset — check your system budget.
