Dual SPST-NO switch with 60 Ohm on-resistance and -90 dB crosstalk
The Maxim MAX4541CSA+ is a dual single-pole single-throw normally-open (SPST-NO) analog switch in an 8-SOIC surface-mount package. It routes two independent signal channels with a maximum on-resistance of 60 Ohm and channel-to-channel matching within 800 mOhm, making it suitable for precision analog signal routing where consistent attenuation across channels matters. Crosstalk is specified at -90 dB at 1 MHz, which keeps channel-to-channel bleed low enough for audio line-level switching and moderate-frequency analog multiplexing. Charge injection of 1 pC minimizes glitch energy when the switch toggles, a consideration for sample-and-hold front ends or DAC output steering. The supply range spans 2.7 V to 12 V single supply, covering 3.3 V and 5 V logic rails as well as 12 V industrial analog supplies. Switching times are 100 ns max turn-on and 75 ns max turn-off, fast enough for audio-rate multiplexing and general-purpose signal gating.
