The Maxim Integrated MAX4503CUK+T is a single-pole single-throw normally-open analog switch in a SOT-23-5 package, designed for routing low-level analog or digital signals in space-constrained boards. Its 250 Ohm max on-resistance and 1 pC charge injection keep signal distortion low in sample-and-hold or audio routing paths. The switch handles dual supplies from ±1V to ±6V, so it can pass bipolar signals without external level translation. Switching is fast enough for most multiplexed data-acquisition front-ends: 150 ns turn-on, 100 ns turn-off. Off-state leakage stays under 1 nA, and channel capacitance is 3 pF each side. This is a commercial-temperature part (0°C to 70°C), suited for bench instruments, telecom line cards, and industrial control panels where the ambient stays within that range.
For new designs or ongoing production, this part does not introduce obsolescence risk.
