Hot swap controller with programmable protection
The MAX4271ESA-T: It operates from a 2.7V to 13.2V supply and draws only 600 µA of supply current, making it suitable for low-power and general-purpose hot swap applications. The controller integrates programmable features including circuit breaker, current limit, fault timeout, latched fault, overvoltage protection (OVP), and undervoltage lockout (UVLO), giving the designer control over the insertion event and fault response.
