Current sense amp for the bench and the board
It monitors current by amplifying the voltage drop across an external shunt resistor, outputting a voltage proportional to the load current. Key specs: 1.2 MHz bandwidth, 420 µA supply current, and a supply span from 3 V to 28 V.
8-SOIC is a standard footprint, easy to hand-solder or reflow. The 3.90 mm body width fits common SOIC-8 land patterns. No hidden thermal pad — the part dissipates through the leads, which is fine for a 420 µA amplifier.
It is RoHS3 compliant.
