What the 76 V input range and high-side sensing mean for your rail
The MAX4007EUT monitors current on the high side of the supply rail, from 2.7 V up to 76 V — covering 12 V, 24 V, 48 V, and 60 V industrial buses without an external voltage divider. High-side sensing keeps the sense resistor between the supply and the load, so the load sees the full rail voltage and any ground-side fault does not bypass the monitor.
Accuracy and temperature range for the BOM line
For a 1 A full-scale sense, the measurement uncertainty is ±50 mA worst-case across temperature. The SOT-23-6 package keeps the PCB footprint under 9 mm², fitting into tight power-stage layouts where a larger SOIC would crowd the decoupling caps.
RoHS non-compliant per the listing — verify your assembly line's exemption allowance before committing the BOM position.
