Housed in a 16-SSOP body (0.209" wide, 5.30 mm), the MAX3226EAE+T is a surface-mount part. The reeled format (Tape & Reel) feeds pick-and-place lines directly; store the reels dry — SSOP packages are moisture-sensitive and need a dry cabinet or bake before reflow if the seal is broken.
No LTB window to watch — this one should remain available through standard distribution for the foreseeable future. If you are qualifying a BOM for a five-year production run, the MAX3226EAE+T does not carry a phase-out risk today.
