The MAX3224EEAP+: Receiver hysteresis of 500 mV provides noise immunity on the serial line, reducing the chance of false edge triggering on a noisy RS-232 bus running at 250kbps.
Housed in a 20-SSOP (0.209-inch body width, 5.30 mm width) surface-mount package, the MAX3224EEAP+ occupies a compact footprint on the PCB. Tube packaging means the parts are delivered in anti-static tubes for manual or automated pick-and-place.
