Temperature accuracy and sensing range
The MAX31730ATC+T is a digital temperature sensor from Analog Devices that measures both local die temperature and a remote diode junction, with 11-bit resolution across the full range. The remote channel extends from -64°C to 150°C, covering cold-chain and hot-spot monitoring beyond the local range.
Supply, interface, and power-management features
The I²C/SMBus digital output interfaces directly with microcontrollers and PMBus controllers without external level translation. Built-in features include One-Shot conversion for on-demand reads, an Output Switch for alert signaling, Programmable Limit registers for over-temperature thresholds, and both Shutdown and Standby modes for power-sensitive applications — the sensor can be placed in a low-power state between measurement intervals.
Package and board-level integration
Housed in a 12-WFDFN exposed-pad package (supplier package 12-TDFN, 3x3 mm), surface-mount.
