Dual SP4T multiplexer with -92 dB crosstalk
The Maxim Integrated MAX309EUE+ is a dual 4:1 analog multiplexer (two SP4T switches) in a 16-TSSOP package. Each switch presents a maximum 100 Ohm on-resistance with 1.5 Ohm channel-to-channel matching, and the crosstalk between channels is rated at -92 dB at 100 kHz — a figure that matters when routing low-level analog signals alongside switching edges on the same die. The part accepts a single supply from 5 V to 30 V or dual supplies from ±5 V to ±20 V, giving it the supply flexibility to interface with both single-rail ADCs and bipolar signal chains.
Switching speed and signal integrity
Ton and Toff both spec at 150 ns max, which is fast enough for scanned analog inputs in data-acquisition systems running sample rates in the hundreds of kHz. The charge injection of 2 pC is low enough that sample-and-hold droop stays manageable — a consideration when the multiplexer drives a single ADC input capacitor. Off-leakage of 750 pA max and off-channel capacitance of 3 pF (CS(off)) keep signal bleed and settling time under control in high-impedance sensor paths.
Industrial temperature coverage
The 16-TSSOP package keeps board area tight — useful when packing eight analog channels into a dense mixed-signal card.
