The MAX3050ASA+T is a full-duplex CAN transceiver from Analog Devices, designed to interface a CAN protocol controller with the physical bus in a 5V-powered system. Rated for 2 Mbps data rate, it supports the higher-speed CAN FD frames that legacy 1 Mbps transceivers cannot pass without bit errors. The 150 mV receiver hysteresis cleans up the bus signal in noisy environments — the threshold margin reduces the chance of a false edge triggering a frame error on a long harness run.

Surface-mount assembly with tape-and-reel or cut-tape packaging; the 1/1 driver/receiver count means one CAN TX and one RX pair per package.
