W-CDMA upconverter – transmit-chain role
The MAX2383EBC-T is a W-CDMA upconverter from Analog Devices, designed to shift baseband I/Q signals to the RF carrier frequency in the transmit path of a W-CDMA base station or handset. As an upconverter, it handles the frequency translation stage before the power amplifier, so its linearity and noise figure directly affect the transmitter's adjacent-channel leakage ratio (ACLR) and error vector magnitude (EVM).
Bulk package – handling and assembly note
— loose pieces rather than tape-and-reel — which affects how the part is fed into a pick-and-place machine; manual or tray-based placement may be needed.
